Jieun Wax is a consultant to Pensam Residential focusing on capital raising, compliance and investor relations.
Jieun has over 10 years of experience in auditing, corporate restructuring and private equity. She began her career as an auditor at KPMG covering the real estate and banking sectors. Subsequently she was an analyst at Rothschild and played a critical role in evaluating and monitoring investments in a $600 million Debt Restructuring Fund established by the Korean Government. Following her work in Korea, Jieun worked at WL Ross & Co., a NY based private equity firm focusing on acquisitions.
Jieun has also been very active in Non-for-Profit fund raising. She served on the Board of Directors at the Couture Council of Museum at Fashion Institute of Technology, served as a Vice Chair of the Board of Directors at Greenwich YWCA and on the Board of the Breast Cancer Alliance. She also holds a certificate of completion in Philanthropy and Fund Raising from NYU.
Jieun is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance with a concentration in Accounting from Notre Dame of Maryland University.
